Kim Purdy, is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IYAT) and a member of Yoga Alliance. She teaches Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, and offers myriad of classes to choose from. She can guide you on your road to build strength, lose weight, increase flexibility, rehabilitate an injury, find mental calmness or any other various reason you want a regular yoga practice.
In 2003, Kim received her BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance at California State University, Fullerton. Years later she was honored to teach Voice and Movement as guest faculty at CSUF for Acting and Musical Theatre majors in 2012. Kim teaches weekly at Purple Yoga Studios, Long Beach Boot Camp, a drug rehabilitation clinic, and also offers private & in-home sessions.
As a ceritifed Yoga Therapist, Kim graduated from the Yoga Therapy RX program at Loyola Marymount University. With a passion for sharing the connection of mind, body, health, and wellness with others, Kim’s philosophy is that yoga is suited for everyone. She thrives on discovering the unique qualities of her students and sharing her deep understanding of various yoga styles to help them enrich their individual practice.
